it's nice to meet all of you! maybe some of you know each other, but i've only talked to a couple of you a handful of times... and since we'll be working with each other, i thought maybe we could get to know each other a little! i'm not very good at that, but i'd like to try~ sooo, besides chatting, i'd like to know a few things about you guys! i'll answer if anyone else does, lol. u///u

1.) what kinds of songs are your favourite to sing? Hmm. Nowadays, I've been singing more jazzy songs (since you guys told me I sing well with it)...ehe, or songs like glow. Just...calm stuff.
2.) when did you start getting into japanese and/or vocaloid music? when I was like...11 or younger. Now I'm 14.
3.) have you ever had any training for singing? Never ever. But I wish I had enough courage to get lessons. QAQ

it varies on my mood; i like songs with lyrics i can relate to and/or a good beat. magical or starry-sounding songs are always fun. maybe my voice doesn't fit it well, but i also enjoy singing more rockish songs! band covers of songs♥ also, piano covers are wonderful!

2.) when did you start getting into japanese and/or vocaloid music?
i learnt my first japanese songs when i was ten - the first opening to card captor sakura and the opening of chobits. i got into vocaloid when i was about... fifteen, i think? it was a short while after rin and len were released. it's been love ever since! haha.

3.) have you ever had any training for singing?
no. ;u; i would very much like to, though. broke + too afraid. ||OTL

animating questiooons.

1.) why did you learn to animate?
because no one would help me with animating my first chorus; god knows. :c

2.) what programs do you use? o:
sony vegas pro 11, adobe after effects, photoshop.

3.) how long have you been animating?
oh, god. since late august of this year.

umm~ i prefer singing fast-paced songs~ cause i tend to run out of breathe if i were to sing slow songs~ cause you often ned to hold a note or two for a long time... and i fail at timing when i just learned that song OTL

2.) when did you start getting into japanese and/or vocaloid music?
eto...well, my japanese song obsession started with animesongs~ Naruto's Kanashimi wo Yasashisa ni and Harmonia, Bleach's Houki Boshi (and tthey still remain as my favourite up till now~ vocaloid songs was only a year ago when i first saw Miku's Black Rock Shooter picture and i went like "woah! so cool! what anime is this" XD~ meh~ i'm still rather new to this, so i know only very few songs OTL i'm determined to learn more! oh!~ and i always prefer the Utaite's version~ i love Usa, Yamai, Hanatan, Tourai, Pokota, Valshe and Clear!!!!

3.) have you ever had any training for singing?
nuuu TAT~ but i think i need one proper one... my singing is like all over the place XD

nee~~~ i need some help with Vegas Pro >_<~~~ i've never animate before... and i just slap a picture to my videos with Windows Movie Maker previously... when i tried Vegas Pro a few days ago... i saved it as mp4 but my com wouldn't play... i save it as mpeg, the size was 80MB for a 4 minute video... OAO~ is that normal????

I really like to sing pop or rock haha two completely diff. ends of the spectrum i guess xD; Also rapping is just as much fun as it is frustrating xD; but it's all good and i still like it <3

I guess.. when i was around 10 or so i got into japanese music but i was 17 when i discovered vocaloid =w=v

3.) have you ever had any training for singing?
I've done choir for maybe a semester in highschool and.. well i don't really count elemantary i guess lol but that's about the extent of my vocal training i guess =w=v I wish i could have more training though :'D

I wanted to be able to help more in my chorus group NRP (Not a robot project)

well, i think that it's normal and actually rather small - for my chorus' debut song, i saved it as an mp4 and it was almost five minutes long and it was 900mb. it depends on the format, quality, and how much there is to your video! i'm not too good at animating yet, but if you ever need any help, please feel free to ask. c:

Definitely ballads, but I'm also good with songs that I know and/or those that I can relate to.

Not at all, but I have been given advices and lots of self admiring reflections on how I could have done better for certain songs I have covered, and I learn from there.

uhh, my interest in japan started around 7th grade i think oAo i started singing around 9th grade (and im now in 12th grade) o3o

Piano/acoustic seem to suit me.

Early 2010, random YouTubing resulted in hearing World is Mine etc.

No. I was in school choir for a year...but that doesn't really count since the teacher who ran it couldn't actually sing. @_@

errrr y-yes, I go to music school. But I only got opera-ish singing training and I try my best not to use that style... ever 8'D I'd rather get a proper jazz/rock training, it's more like me ; 3;

ANIMATING:
1.) why did you learn to animate?
I was an AMV maker in the past. A faily one but I learned a lot about animating. Then I got into YT community and I didn't know any animators to help me with my chorus so yeah. 8'D Though I'm not really active as an animator. Maybe during summer break I'll get back to work. lol
2.) what programs do you use? o:
Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas
3.) how long have you been animating?
I started with AMVs when I was about 12 or 13 but I didn't animate regularly so idk. 4 years maybe? <'D
